🚨 Big Update for Salaried Professionals! 🚨 If you use meal cards or food vouchers (like Sodexo/Pluxee) as part of your CTC, there’s some great news for you Under the new Income Tax Rules (2026), the tax-exempt limit for food allowances has been significantly increased. 🔹 What’s changed? Old limit: ₹50 per meal New limit: ₹200 per meal 💡 What does this mean for you? Assuming 2 meals per day over 22 working days: ₹200 × 2 meals = ₹400/day ₹400 × 22 days = ₹8,800/month ₹8,800 × 12 months = ₹1,05,600/year Previously, the annual exemption was capped at ₹26,400. With this update, you can now save taxes on an additional ₹79,200 every year. 👉 If you fall in the 30% tax bracket, this could translate to ₹24,000+ in annual tax savings — a meaningful boost to your take-home income! ✅ A small policy change, but a big win for salaried employees. 😄 But the real question is… what will you do with so much balance in your food coupons? Time to upgrade from chai to full-course meals every day? #IncomeTax #SalaryBenefit #CTC #TAX #FinancialPlanning

Currently working on an Income Tax notice where it is stated

April 18, 2026

Currently working on an Income Tax notice where it is stated that income has “escaped assessment” based on: • Cash deposits in bank 💰 • Turnover reported in GSTR-1 📄 • Turnover reported in GSTR-3B All three figures were treated separately and added together to conclude that income had escaped assessment. But a simple question arises: Are these really different incomes… or the same business turnover appearing in different reports? In many practical cases, bank deposits and GST turnover are already part of the same transactions recorded in books and reported in returns. Technology-driven verification by the department is definitely a welcome step 👍 However, sometimes numbers are compared before they are connected. When figures are linked properly, what appears like “escaped income” often turns out to be “already reported income” 🙂 A small reconciliation between books, GST returns and bank statements can avoid unnecessary notices and save valuable time for both taxpayers and authorities. Hopefully, as systems become smarter, assessments will focus more on understanding transactions rather than just matching numbers 🔍

How a 500+ People Accounting Outsourcing Firm Was Built We o

November 16, 2025

How a 500+ People Accounting Outsourcing Firm Was Built We often see the success of large offshore accounting firms — big teams, global clients, rapid expansion. But the real story is built slowly, through consistent effort, smart pivots, and long-term thinking. Two CAs grew their firm across the US, UK, and Australia by focusing on one truth: the world has a massive shortage of accountants, and great offshore talent can fill that gap better than anything else. Their growth wasn’t accidental. The UK grew slowly. The US exploded. Referrals became the backbone. Scaling beyond 100 people required structure, strong managers, and a clear organogram. And the biggest battle? Retaining talent in a market where competitors pay 2–3x salaries. They solved it by building their own training academy — turning fresh talent into job-ready professionals in months. Key Lessons Anyone in Outsourcing or Accounting Can Use: Focus on the market that responds fastest — not every market at once. Trust compounds slowly; referrals take time but scale massively. Talent development is the best defence against rising competition. Specialization wins; general services don’t stand out anymore. What takeaway stands out the most to you? Would love to hear your thoughts. #Outsourcing #Accounting #FinanceProfessionals #GlobalTalent #Leadership #ScalingBusinesses
